In search of fame and the following riches, an online video creator and his rag-tag production crew venture into the forest by Mt. Iwakudaki, a forest where legends tell of an ancient monkey on the prowl. The monkey, however, proves to be more than just a legend… Taking cues from American horror movies in both structure and style, this spin-off of Monkey Peak is a slasher film in manga form, even effecting a “found footage” style at times.
