Yeong-Do, a poor woodcutter living alone who longs for a family. And Imugi, who must kill its companion to become a dragon. Yeong-Do hears a rumor that if he throws an axe into a mountain pond, the mountain spirit will turn it into a golden one. He throws his axe to prepare for his wedding.
